Accessibility Statement

At Scenic Scottish Transfers, we strive to provide accessible services to all our passengers. While we are not a specialist company with vehicles specifically catering to the needs of those with disabilities, we make every effort to accommodate special requirements where possible.

Important Information:

  • Accessibility Requests: Please inform us at the time of requesting a quote if any passengers in your group have mobility issues. Similarly please notify us if you will need to transport any wheelchairs, mobility aids, or other equipment required for mobility. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Medical Fitness to Travel: If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or which may affect your booking, please provide us with full details when requesting a quote. This will allow us to advise you on the suitability of your chosen arrangements.

  • Children’s Safety: Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. If your child is less than 1.35m tall, please notify us when requesting a quote so we can discuss any necessary provisions.

  • It is a legal required that where children under 18 are carried in a vehicle certain elements must be adhered to by law (such as child / booster seats). Failure to disclose at the point of quotation that your party will include children under 18 or children under 1.35m tall may lead to us refusing to allow them carriage within the vehicle due to safety concerns. In such circumstances, your booking will be deemed as cancelled, and we will not be liable for any costs or charges you incur in finding alternate arrangements.

  • Hygiene Practices: By prior request, our drivers can undertake additional hygiene practices, including wearing facemasks and/or medical-style disposable gloves. Please request this at the point of asking for a quote.

  • Languages: Our staff primarily speak English. If you require assistance in another language, please let us know when requesting a quote so we can make the necessary arrangements.

  • Toilet Stops: We understand the importance of comfort during your journey and we will always try to make toilet stops when required. However, if you will likely require regular toilet stops, please inform us at the time of booking, and we will plan the route accordingly.

  • Vehicle Access: Unfortunately, our vehicles are not equipped with features such as low access floors or chairlifts and passengers should be aware that they will encounter a step in order to get in to our vehicles from the kerbside. It is therefore important that passengers are able to enter into the vehicle independently. Please note further that accessing the back rows of our vehicles requires a certain level of agility and manoeuvrability. Passengers should be prepared to navigate tight spaces, which may involve bending and turning. If you have mobility concerns, please let us know when booking so we can assess the suitability of our vehicles for your needs.
